Kristen Stewart reportedly shared a surprise encounter with Black Eyed Peas star Fergie after a late-night dinner at Paris’ Hôtel Costes’s restaurant. “It was totally unplanned,” a source told People magazine.

Kristen, 19, is in the French capital promoting Twilight sequel New Moon, which hits theaters later this month. Stewart was dining with her costars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, but the guys left by 1:30 a.m. to return to their hotel.

“Kristen stayed behind,” the source dished, adding that she chatted with Fergie until about 2 a.m. when they left the hotel together, holding hands as they walked out. “[They] looked like they’d gotten on really well.” Kristen recently revealed that she doesn’t think her fame will endure. “I have a really strong feeling that this is going to go away, that this is the most intense it’s going to get and could get and that it’s fleeting,” she said. “So in a few years, I will hopefully become more like the people I want to become like.”
