KRISTEN Stewart admits she had trouble with her transition from Twilight’s Bella Swan to perfect princess Snow White. The 21-year-old actress says she found her goody-goody character in Snow White and the Huntsman difficult to relate to.

“It’s strange playing a character that you could never truly embody,” says Kristen. ”I can’t have Snow White’s effect on people and I can’t actually be completely selfless. Nobody is. It’s strange to claim that. She’s very far-fetched from the reality that we live.”

Kristen Stewart has described her Snow White character as butch. In an interview with Teen.com, Kristen spoke about wearing armour as Snow White in the film, and how it made her feel.

“That’s the first thing you wanna do is, ‘ahhh!’” Kristen said, pounding her chest and screaming like Tarzan. “And [the dress underneath] is so wearable. I also have puffy sleeves. Somehow she manages to make puffy sleeves look butch.”

Kristen recently revealed that she loved wearing her armour. “I loved wearing the armor,” said Kristen. “Somehow, the armor on men is funny, unless they’re on horseback and then they look amazing, but just seeing them lumbering slowly along is hilarious.

“There’s also something dainty about it too with pointy toes. It fits a woman’s body better I think. The guys running around look like little toys but slightly feminine little toys.”

Kristen Stewart may have just gotten a dose of the cold shoulder by another Snow White actor, Nathan Lane, who's thankfully not starring in her own movie, Snow White and the Huntsman but in another flick about the popular fairytale: Mirror Mirror. He better watch what he says, though, as Stewart's super-supportive boyfriend (not to mention her scads of fans and co-stars!) may be quick to defend his girl, should things get too uncomplimentary.

Lane recently swung by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to chat up the talk show host and promote his upcoming film, which stars Lily Collins in the lead role and hits theaters on March 16. While there, he said, "If you see one Snow White movie this year, this is the one... that comes out first." (Huntsman debuts on June 1.) He humorously added, "[Mirror Mirror's] so good they named it twice," and that the movie "is a lot of fun, and we have the secret weapon that is Julia Roberts."

While the actor's remarks were certainly all made in a joking manner, and there's no reason he shouldn't stand up for his own flick, there seems like there might be a silly snub lurking behind those comments. There's enough room (hopefully!) on the silver screen for two Snow White interpretations, which probably could not be more different in scope.

After all, there's no need to discount Snow White and the Huntsman because the movie doesn't have an actress like Roberts. It does have Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart, who has an undeniable popularity factor going for her right now, what with the craze of The Twilight Saga not to mention a hot topic boyfriend in Robert Pattinson.

Whether it was an intentional diss from Nathan Lane, as Hollywood Life seemingly suggests, or just an unfortunate interpretation of meaning, the box office will be the true test of which Snow White wins the ultimate princess (or warrior-princess, in Kristen Stewart's case) crown!

As she steps into the role of Snow White in the upcoming movie Snow White & The Huntsman, actress Kristen Stewart has been talking about what it was like filming the new movie in the fairytale role.

“It’s strange playing a character that you actually could never truly embody. I can’t have Snow White’s affect on people. I can’t actually be completely selfless because nobody is. You can only really play a character like that in a fairytale and play it with an awful load of integrity and not have it just be like a fake character in a movie with other people that do seem real. She’s a very fully formed but very farfetched from the reality that we live in type of person. She also is strong in a very different way than you’d expect like bullying a person in an action-type adventure movie.” Kristen shared in a recent interview with Teen.

Can fans expect to see a little bit of Bella Swan from Twilight in Snow White? Kristen dished on the differences between the two – “they both come to find that they’re leaders. That’s definitely a similarity. They’re different. They’re very, very, very different people. Both of them are sort of a little more intuitive and spiritually, for whatever reason, connected, and their gut is always sort of dead right.”

“[Snow White] She is prissy sometimes. But she’s strong. She can kick ass. That’s the other thing. It takes her the whole movie basically to become who I’m talking about now. It’s a total identity movie. It’s all about not finding yourself, but actually just being okay with who you know you always have been and not being ashamed of being the only one who sees the light.”

Kristen also had nothing but nice words to say about her co-star Chris Hemsworth! “Before I met him, I was like, “Gosh, so charming.” You know what I mean? Like, he’s so ridiculously, seemingly nice. Movie-star caliber nice. But he really actually just is. Really kind of just like quasi-boy. He’s really relaxed whereas I’m always like “Oh my God!” I use my anxiety to do this. He’s a good energy for me. I really like working with him.”Be sure to catch the movie when it makes its way into theaters on June 1st!

Twilight actress Kristen Stewart has revealed that she absolutely loved working with The Avengers actor Chris Hemsworth on the forthcoming movie Snow White and the Huntsman. Kristen claims that Chris is one of the most charming people that she has ever worked with and that his relaxed approach helped her to overcome her anxiety.

Stewart explained, "Before I met him, I was like: 'Gosh, so charming.' You know what I mean? Like he's so ridiculously, seemingly nice. Movie-star calibre nice. But he really actually just is. But then again, it's strange working - cause I mean it's not a secret. It was a completely different part before. It was totally like a rethought.”
 
She added, "So when he came in it was like: 'Wow! This is [so] interesting!' I mean, it was like they really elevated it. Chris is an amazing, nice guy and also [has] great instincts and he can roll with everything on set. He's really relaxed, whereas I use my anxiety to do this and he's always sort of like - he's a good energy for me. I really like working with him." Ever wonder how Kristen Stewart managed to look so... well, creepy... in the famous birthing/near death scene from Breaking Dawn? Was it make-up? Special effects? Hypnosis? Or is she simply a great actress who became so caught up in her character that her own figure and physiognomy actually changed? The correct answer is none of the above. K-Stew looked so shockingly different because it wasn't her playing Bella Swan in that harrowing scene. Yikes. So who was it?

Shockingly, that question shouldn't be "Who?" but "What?" Bella Swan was played in the disturbing birthing/near death sequence by a creepy looking Kristen Stewart look-alike robotic doll. Poor Robert Pattinson. It seems the film's animatronics department whipped up the creepy robot to make the horrific sequence look as real as possible. Plus, it was necessary if Bella was to appear as wasted and emaciated as she was described in the book.

"It's very hybrid, the approach," said John Rosengrant, the film's animatronics and special makeup effects supervisor in an interview with MTV News. "We tried to shape the whole Bella, what she looks like emaciated and all that, but it's also digitally augmented, and that was from the get-go, this was going to be a hybrid-type effect."

Apparently, a close examination of "K-Stew's" face when Robert Pattinson is super emotional with "her," reveals a "creepy element." That because "she" was mechanical device.

"It was creepy when we created the look of her, in a good way," Rosengrant continued. "I was actually shocked that was the edict and I think that is maybe [credit] to Bill Condon as the director, wanting to make something like that real because the previous movies didn't strike me that they would embrace something like this."

So, there you have it. If John Rosengrant, who created the robotic Kristen Stewart, was shocked of her "creepiness," imagine how Robert Pattinson must have felt. He had to play a super emotional love scene with the thing, which would have been bizarre enough had K-Stew simply been his reel-life leading lady. But she's also his real life lady-love. Talk about method acting, and commingling real and manufactured emotions. Poor R-Pattz.

Friday was a very big night for US Twilight fans. Twihards across the nation left the comfort of their Team Edward-wallpapered bedrooms to attend midnight parties at Target for the DVD release of Breaking Dawn, Part 1. The department store rewarded their devotion by debuting a never-before-seen clip from Breaking Dawn, Part 2, and -- thanks to the power of shaky cellphone cameras – it's now burning up the interwebs.

The dialogue is hard to hear (and the picture is partially – and hilariously – obscured by a "Price Cut: $699.99" sign stuck on the TV), but the scene appears to feature newly turned Bella adjusting to vampire life (which is clearly suiting her. If becoming a vampire means lush eyelashes and volumptous hair, drain us now!).

Bella is reading Alice's warning note about the Volturi ("Gather as many witnesses as you can before the snow sticks to the ground. That's when they'll come for us") when Edward enters the room. "It's strange," she tells him. "Physically I feel like I could demolish a tank, but mentally I just feel...drained.

"How about a bath?" Edward answers before admitting, "I have a bad habit of underestimating you. Every obstacle you've ever faced I didn't think you'd overcome it, but you just did. And you've given me something to fight for: a family."The first full trailer will run before screenings of The Hunger Games, which hits theatres in March.

Kristen Stewart with Beast in Snow White and the Huntsman. Look at the picture of Kristen Stewart in a dark forest with a frightening beast. Is he good-natured or lethal?

The new story is about a despotic kingdom where a queen, Ravenna, (Charlize Theron) realizes her step-daughter, Snow White (Kristen Stewart) will excel her as a ruler and become the Fairest in the Land. The magic mirror (Christopher Obi) tells Ravenna to eat Snow White’s heart and she will live forever.

Snow White flees into the Dark Forest. The Queen hires a Huntsman, Eric, (Chris Hemsworth) to bring Snow White back. The Huntsman compassionately lets Snow White live and teaches Snow White the art of war.

Snow White starts a revolution to take down the Queen. She is helped by the seven dwarfs and Prinice William (Sam Claflin) who has loved Snow White for a long time. The debut of the movie is to be June 1, 2012.

Kristen Stewart is famous for her grungy, rocker look when she's not gracing a red carpet, and the painfully shy star was back to her everyday look this week for a dinner date with boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, along with her mom. It's a big change from the ultra-glamorous look she sported just last week for a photo shoot with Vanity Fair while in London.

The star couple and Stewart's mom were seen having an intimate and low-key meal at a sushi restaurant in Sherman Oaks, Calif., and were happy to take pictures with a fan sitting at the next table. The luckily fan, Deja, scored pictures with both Pattinson and Stewart, Hollywood Life reports.

In keeping with the low-key vibe of the outing, the pictures show that Stewart sports a simple white v-neck tee. Her hair is in its trademark barely-brushed and roughly swept off the face look, held back with a pair of black sunglasses. The star sported smudged black eyeliner that looked more like a hastily washed face from the night before than any attempt at actual makeup application. Despite the lack of finesse in her appearance, Stewart's skin looked clean and clear, with the hint of a smile for the fan's picture. According to her makeup artist Beau Nelson, Kristen Stewart keeps her skin looking fabulous with Japanese skin care brand Kenebo.

Deja's mother, who was also at the restaurant, told Hollywood Life that "Rob, Kristen and her mom were extremely kind and friendly. They seemed very happy and down to earth. They took photos with my daughter, which was sweet of them."

The trio was spotted across the street perusing vintage fashion, with one eyewitness saying that, "They didn't hold hands or have any PDA. But I think that's because they were trying to be respectful with her mom there."
