Kristen Stewart Nominees in 2011 People's Choice Awards: Kristen Stewart will have to battle her rumored boyfriend Robert Pattinson for fans' votes at 2011 People's Choice Awards. Nominees were announced on Tuesday, November 9, and the on-screen lovers in the "Twilight Saga" series found themselves being nominated for the same category, the Favorite Movie Star Under 25.
Kristen and Robert weren't the only Hollywood pair being pitted against one another in the category. Former "High School Musical" co-stars and real life couple, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron, were also up against each other for the title, which also sees "Harry Potter" beauty Emma Watson as nominee.
Although they were up against each other in one category, Kristen and Robert were nominated together in another. Along with co-star Taylor Lautner, they were in the running for Favorite On-Screen Team. Tina Fey and Steve Carell of "Date Night" as well as Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith of "The Karate Kid" were among their competitors.
Individually, the "Twilight Saga" co-stars also nabbed other nomination. Kristen grabbed an acting nod for Favorite Movie Actress, while Robert was nominated for Favorite Movie Actor against co-star Taylor. Additionally, their latest film in the vampire drama series, "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse", nailed two more counts for Favorite Movie and Favorite Drama Movie.
In the meantime, "Grey's Anatomy" led the television category. The ABC series was nominated for Favorite TV Drama, and grabbed individual acting nods for Patrick Dempsey and Sandra Oh. The two as well as co-star Ellen Pompeo were also vying for the title of Favorite TV Doctor. They were up against Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard.
People's Choice Awards recognizes the people and the work of popular culture. Besides film and television, it also honors the best in music and online world. Its 37th annual ceremony is to take place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California on January 5, 2011 and will be aired on CBS. Fans can cast their votes for their favorites at People's Choice official site until December 7.
