Much like her Twilight character's former beliefs, actress Kristen Stewart has expressed that she does not believe in marriage. The 21-year-old star, who has been dating co-star Robert Pattinson for quite some time, thinks that couples are able to stay together happily, but getting married is a completely unnecessary process.
“I like the thought of two people staying together for the rest of their lives. For me, however, this doesn’t need to be sealed with signatures,” she told German magazine TVMovie. While Stewart does not believe in marriage, she did, however, express how much she loves the wedding dress that she wears in Breaking Dawn.
“I love it! It’s old-fashioned, but that’s exactly what I like,” she said, later confirming that it fits her character Bella’s personality perfectly. What do you think of Stewart’s beliefs on marriage? Do you think she’ll eventually walk down the aisle despite what she believes?
