Teens, rejoice: the cast of Twilight, including Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson, will make an appearance at the Teen Choice Awards 2009 (TC 09), where Miley Cyrus will perform and The Jonas Brothers host.
Fox's teenage-friendly awards ceremony has an official lineup, and the stars will be the casts of the Twilight movies, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, and Kellan Lutz, and the network's new musical comedy series Glee, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Jenna Ushkowitz, Chris Colver, Amber Riley, and Kevin McHale.
Sixteen year-old superstar, and recent cover girl, Miley Cyrus will perform her newest single, "Party in the
U.S.A." The song, recently leaked online, is part of an EP available exclusively at Wal-Mart along with Miley Cyrus' new clothing line with Max Azria.
The Teen Choice Awards 2009 will be hosted by the Jonas Brothers, Kevin, Joe, and Nick, who actually invited fans to dare them online at their MySpace page in the Dare the Jonas Brothers initiative. Until July 27th, participants got the chance to send a 15-second video daring them to do something original.
The winning clip will be aired at the TC 09, and the winners will get to watch the hosts do the dare.
Other celebrities set to appear at the event are David Beckham, Zac Efron, Megan Fox, Cameron Diaz, Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Morrison, Keke Palmer, Alexis Bledel, and Ashley Tisdale.
Seems like a lot already? According to the TC 09 website, there are still surprises to be revealed. The winners, chosen by viewers, will be announced at the Teen Choice Awards 2009 (TC 09) on Monday, Aug. 10th at 8pm EST on Fox.
