Kristen Stewart’s Glorious Red Carpet Interview

Posted in : Gossips, Interviews

(added few years ago!)

I spent most of this weekend obsessing about Kristen Stewart. Not because I am one of those strange adults who is crazy about the Twilight series (thanks but no thanks, I prefer vampires of the non-sparkling variety) but because I am absolutely chomping at the bit to see.

Kristen Stewart’s Glorious Red Carpet Interview

The Runaways where Kristen will be doing her best Joan Jett impersonation – and Dakota Fanning. Anyway, I found the following video of Kristen chatting to press about The Runaways at Sundance and, well, basically my head exploded with joy. I can’t stop watching it.

If there was a 24 hour cable channel that played this video of Kristen Stewart bumbling her way through a red carpet interview endlessly, I would probably invest in Foxtel. I would also invest in a bong.Oh. My. GOD.I just love her so much. And I am obsessed by her inability to finish a sentence. I cannot believe there is actually a Team Jacob/Team Edward argument amongst Twilight fans when it’s absolutely clear Kristen Stewart is the best thing about that damned franchise.

Here she is being interviewed by someone else about another film at Sundance. She seems as astoundingly scatty as ever, but I think that’s mostly because she’s extremely shy and uncomfortable with being in the public eye. Look at her reaction when the interviewer asks about how things have changed for her since Twilight.

“I can’t walk up and down the street, and walking up and down main street is sort like, why it’s [half says the word 'cool' before abruptly starting a new sentence]. Like, you see everybody and you see, like, what’s going on. I mean, I just drive up. I drive everywhere. Oh! I’m gonna start crying!”

Poor love. I know folk often say that if they had the money and power that comes with being a celebrity, they’d be absolutely fine with sacrificing their privacy, but I’ll never be able to understand that. Not having the freedom to walk down the street without being hassled by people who don’t seem to comprehend that you’re an actual human being and instead treat you as though you’re not quite real? Urgh. Anyone who craves that kind of fame is an idiot, and anyone who thrives under that kind of spotlight is probably mentally unbalanced.NO MORE “SERIOUS THOUGHTS”, LET’S GET BACK TO KRISTEN!

Isn’t she glorious?I found that video of her on the red carpet at Sundance from this website. I probably shouldn’t really comment on their theory that Kristen Stewart might be of the Sapphic persuasion because I’ve never met Kristen… but I will say this. I find it VERY hard to believe she and Robert Pattinson ever made the beast with two backs. Also, follow that link because it is hilarious.
